Tiller is built to work entirely on your own devices, so there is very little to collect:

Account information: None. Tiller has no accounts. You don’t sign up, sign in, or give us your name or email to use it.
Remote activity: The trackpad movements, key presses, and media commands you send stay on your local network, between your iPhone and your Mac. They are never sent to us.
Usage data: None. The Tiller apps don’t include third-party analytics or tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because we don’t collect personal data, there’s nothing for us to use, sell, or build a profile from. The only information Tiller handles is the live remote-control data passing between your iPhone and your Mac, and it’s used only to:

Move the cursor, type, and scroll on your Mac
Control media playback from your phone
Keep your paired devices connected on your own network

We do not sell your personal data, and we have none to share. Tiller has no servers in the middle, so your activity isn’t sent to us or to any third party. Your iPhone and Mac communicate only with each other, on your own network.

4. Data Storage & Security

Tiller has no cloud storage and no central database, so there’s nothing about you stored on our servers. Your two devices connect directly over your local Wi-Fi, and each connection is confirmed with a four-digit pairing code shown on your Mac. Keeping everything local is how Tiller protects your privacy.

5. Your Rights

Because we don’t collect personal data, there’s normally nothing of yours for us to hold. Even so, you can:

Use Tiller without ever creating an account or sharing personal details
Remove Tiller and the Mac helper at any time, which ends any local data they hold
Contact us if you believe we have any information about you

6. Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and do not track you across websites. The Tiller apps do not use third-party tracking SDKs.

7. Children’s Privacy

Tiller is not directed at children under 13. Because it doesn’t collect personal data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you have any concerns, please contact us.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will note any significant changes in the app or on our website, and update the date above.
