1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Tiller (the “App”), its companion Tiller for Mac, and the website at frontier.sh (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Tiller is a remote-control app for your Mac. The App turns your iPhone into a trackpad, keyboard, and media remote, and works with a small free companion app, Tiller for Mac, that runs in your Mac’s menu bar. Your iPhone connects directly to your Mac over your own local Wi-Fi network.
3. Accounts
Tiller does not use accounts. You don’t sign up or sign in, and there’s no password to manage. You are responsible for the devices you install Tiller on and for who has access to your local network.
4. Payment
Tiller is a one-time purchase of $9.99 through Apple’s App Store. There’s no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no ads. By buying Tiller, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase. Purchases, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms; to request a refund, use Apple’s App Store process. Tiller for Mac is a free download from frontier.sh.
5. User Content
Tiller has no accounts, uploads, or community features. It doesn’t collect photos, notes, or files you create, and there’s nothing to share or publish. What happens on your devices stays on your devices.
6. Intellectual Property
Tiller and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Frontier and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Apple, Mac, macOS, iPhone, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Tiller is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to devices or systems that aren’t yours
- Copy, redistribute, or resell the App
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App’s source code
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Tiller is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will work with every device or network setup.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frontier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note any significant changes in the App or on our website.
